Rug of the Day-january 16th

Today's rug is Merrie Hallowe'en, a design adapted from Lori Brechlin folk art by Spruce Ridge Studios (c) 2006
This beautiful little Merrie is hooked by Melody Bryan.  I love her pumpkin face and the way Melody used purple as an accent color.  Here's a closer look at the face:
Wonderful!

The second Merrie Hallowe'en rug is hooked by Diane Lestina.
Diane hooked her Merrie as a white pumpkin.  The gold background is unusual and just terrific for this rug!

Kris - I was so excited to see my Merrie featured on your rug of the day ! She was so much fun to do and in case anyone is curious - she was hooked in a 4,5 and 6 and Diane Stoffel did the color plan and dyeing for the entire project.
Thanks Melody
