Meet Hope!

Here is my newest fur baby, Hope.  We adopted her from a wonderful lady who also happens to be a rug hooker.  She rescued Hope from a kill shelter and fostered her for 2 months.  My son drove down to North Carolina to pick her up for me.  She has been adapting nicely to our family and gets along perfectly with our lab, Jack and our cat, Reilly.  Hope is a one year old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix with THE most beautiful ice blue eyes you have ever seen. She is not very sure about all of our farm animals yet.
Two large dogs means double the dog hair on my floor...but it also means I get a double dose of love.  Jack and Hope give me kisses in the morning when I wake up!

Wow, all the way from North Carolina! Hope is truely loved and much-wanted. What a lucky dog. Rescue animals have a special place in my heart. Wishing her a long, happy and healthy life with you and her new animal friends.

I'll bet she is loving her new home and family. I used the Furminator for hair control once a week. Worked great and when I learned the right way to hold it, she loved it!

Hope, what a beautiful name for a beautiful dog. I know she's found a loving home. Only dog people can relate to this... I have two Old English Sheep dogs who like to slather me with kisses every morning. Hattie likes to like my eyes. I think she's trying to open them... It works.

No question Kris, double the love and kisses far outweighs double the work. I furminate my two, I have a black lab and a golden retriver. They both shed but the black lab sheds 10 times worse than the golden retriever, which you wouldn't think. But it's all worth it when they snuggle with you and are there when you need someone and they just give nothing but love, snuugles and kisses. It's just so much joy to have them. Have fun!! hugs Cyndi
