So Much to Say!

I have been traveling and teaching a great deal over the past month or so!  I have so much to say and haven't had much time to do it.
However, this blog post is dedicated to my gentle girl, Nokie, who passed away peacefully (and unexpectedly) in her sleep on the morning of Sunday June 20th.  She was 12 years old and lived way beyond her life expectancy for a Great Pyrenees. I know we gave her the best life possible and she was happy here doing her "guardian" chores.  Her best friends were the goats, sheep and the rug hookers who visited or took classes.  We all miss you Big Doggie.

OH Kris...I am so sorry to hear of Nokie's passing! She was one of the fluffiest doggies I had ever seen, but so beautiful! I remember when I first went to your home for class and she met me at the door with her furocious bark...scared me to death (I'm afraid of dogs..I hate to admit that), but she was so sweet..just a big fluffy teddy bear! Beautiful pictures of her..I'm sure those will help comfort you through your sadness....

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the lost of one incredible dog. The years you had together will be treasured for always. I know she is having a great time on the other side of the rainbow bridge with my little terriers!!

I will miss having Nokie bark her hello from the porch whenever I stop by to pick out wool. She was a lovely, gentle lady and I know you will miss her terribly. I hope you find comfort in the fact that you gave her a wonderful life filled with companionship and love.
