That was my husband's exclaimation when we got up this morning and discovered this:
...and it's still coming down....
Don't get me wrong, I love snow...but not in April when my daffodils are struggling to come up and show their little yellow heads.
We bought my neighbor's used tractor yesterday and it came home with the snow blower attachment still on the front. Gee, did we jinx something????
I think waking up to that this morning, I would have had tears in my eyes. If I were you I would yank that snow blower attachment off ASAP. Lol
ReplyDeleteI thought it was my fault! I put my snow shovel in the shed yesterday!!
ReplyDeleteI'll trade you one inch of snow for about 3 million inches of rain! It's time for real spring, with sunshine and pretty flowers. Hope your "spring" melts soon.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it discouraging? We had a couple of inches in Chicagoland and it just melted.... The 40 degree temps are killing me! We had a fire last night to warm up....
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about all that snow but at least you still have a roof over your head. I saw on the news the destruction left by a tornado in Carolina. Not sure wether it was North or South Carolina. People lost lives and lost their homes and some were left with only the cloths on their back.
ReplyDeleteI hope that warmer weather is on the way . JB
So true, Julia, sometimes we don't know how lucky we are...thanks for putting things in perspective!

I feel your pain Kris. My poor little crocus are shivering most days. They have had very little sunshine, but lots in the way of snow and rain. Think happy thoughts.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm SOOO sorry!
ReplyDeleteSending "sunny thoughts" !!!
